Date Night at the museums is back and better than ever as four local favorites team up to host a festive Valentine′s Day event. Join The Nicolaysen Art Museum, The Science Zone, the Tate Geological Museum and the Casper College Visual Arts Galleries on Wednesday, February 14th, from 6:00 to 9:30 for an evening of sips and small bites.
Participants will park at an assigned venue and will ride a shuttle, visiting each institution, and finishing where they started. All venues will provide appetizers and beverages (participants must be 21) and tickets are $100 per couple. Proceeds benefit the Museums of Casper, an organization representing twelve cultural institutions across the city.
For more information or to purchase a ticket, please visit The Nic at 400 E. Collins Drive.
At The NIC couples will enjoy the latest exhibitions and an exclusive vault tour of the museum′s permanent collection. Next you’ll head into the Science Zone to explore hands-on science exhibits, stopping by their Genetics Lab to make your own Genetic Marvel! At the Casper College Visual Arts Galleries you’ll view the latest exhibition in the Casper College Alumni Association Art Gallery, experience art throughout the new Visual Arts Center, and gain private access and a tour of significant pieces in the fine art collections storage. Lastly, join the Tate Geological Museum staff for a fun scavenger hunt featuring all things dinosaur.
Refreshments will be served at all venues.
