  • Gallery exhibition: January 21 – February 21 in the Mildred Zahradnicek Gallery
  • Artists talk: February 21 at 11 a.m. in the Wheeler Concert Hall, held in conjunction with the 35th Annual Casper College Humanities Festival and Demorest Lecture

New visual arts faculty member Shawn Bush showcases his photographic work in this exhibit. Working with photography, collage, paint and sculpture, Sacrosanct Soil chronicles the relationship between manmade and natural landscapes throughout the continental United States. By overlaying and collaging his own photographic materials that span the past ten years, Bush uses tropes of photographic representation to create associations with pop culture and advertising imagery, opening up possibilities for individual interpretations to be made.
