Inge Auerbacher is a Holocaust survivor, author and inspirational speaker. She was born in Germany and spent three years as a child in the Terezin concentration camp in Czechoslovakia where out of 15,000 children, only 1 percent survived. Auerbacher tells her story in three books: “I am a Star – Child of the Holocaust,” “Beyond the Yellow Star to America,” “Finding Dr. Schatz: The Discovery of Streptomycin and a Life it Saved.” This presentation is in conjunction with the Casper College Holocaust Seminar, which is sponsored by BOCES.
